Complaints

Returns

For returns of any nature, you should initially contact us by email.

If your goods have been damaged in transit, or there are discrepancies between the goods received and those orders, please inform within seven days of receipt of the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returns within 28 days of receipt

If we sell you an item and the particular unit we deliver is faulty, you are legally entitled to a full refund or replacement but you must report it to us within 28 days of receipt.

Return the item to us intact with all packaging, manuals, accessories etc.
When reporting a faulty product you just bought, please state clearly whether a refund or replacement is required.

Items reported faulty outside of 28 days will be subject to manufacturer's warranty arrangements which may entail a repair being performed.

In some instances, we may ask you to contact the manufacturer directly in order to confirm there is a physical fault as we have found that some faults are actually configuration or compatibility issues. This in no way affects your statutory rights and is simply something we may ask our customers to perform in order to speed up the returns process.

Warranty

The products that you buy from us include a a one-year manufacturer warranty, effective from the purchase date, that warrants against defects in materials or workmanship. A purchase receipt may be required before warranty service can be provided. The manufacturer's warranty cover extends to failures that are due to defects in materials or workmanship which occur during normal use. This does not cover damage or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, faulty installation, improper maintenance, improper voltage supply, interference from or with other electronic devices, alteration, maladjustment of customer controls, modification, acts of nature e.g. earthquakes or service or repairs carried out by anyone other than the respective manufacturer's service centre.

Please ensure that you are happy with the terms of the warranty provided with each product and if you have any queries prior to purchase, please email us. Your statutory rights are not affected.

In the event of any breach of this contract by Retail Matrix Limited, the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages. Under no circumstances shall the limit of liability by Retail Matrix Limited exceed the price of the goods.

Other than specified in these terms and condition, we will accept no liability for direct, consequential, or any other loss arising from the supply by Retail Matrix Limited of any goods.

A warranty repair is offered for most faulty goods purchased from Retail Matrix Ltd which you have had for more than 28 days.

When we accept return of an item for repair, we will confirm the fault and send the goods back to the relevant manufacturer or distributor. Due to the process and logistics involved, it may take 4-6 weeks for an item to be received, sent for repair, returned to us and then subsequently returned back to you.

Distance Selling Regulations - Your Rights

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2334/2000), introduced a 'cooling off' period, in other words, a right to cancel your order after receipt of goods. This is nothing to do with the Sale of Goods Act which deals with faulty products. If your purchase is faulty, we will deal with this under our normal returns procedure. These regulations only apply to purchases by consumers and not business purchases.

If you have received goods and have simply changed your mind about purchasing them, you may return the goods to us for a full credit, without restocking fee, subject to the following conditions:
?? ?The item(s) is in stock condition i.e. as delivered with no security seals broken.
?? ?Consumables cannot be returned unless they are completely unopened.
?? ?You inform us of your desire to cancel within seven working days of receipt of the item(s).
?? ?The goods are not made to the consumer's specification or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
?? ?The goods are not software which are unsealed.
?? ?The goods are returned within 30 days of receipt, and are in a re-saleable condition and in the original packaging
?? ?You pay the return freight charges, either by asking us to arrange collection or by using a method of your own choosing.
